Rose made his debut on the RB sidelines with a convincing 3-0 win over his former club Borussia Dortmund. The appearance of the team, which seemed liberated after the change of coach, did not go unnoticed by Champions League opponents Real Madrid, where RB is making a guest appearance on Wednesday evening as part of the second group game (from 9 p.m. in the TM live ticker): “RB had a few problems At the beginning of the season, but they won against Dortmund and you could see the quality of the team. They have tech players, they have fast players. We have to address that in our match plan,” announced Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Werner on the duel with Real Madrid: “Almost my favorite opponent”
The Saxons are already under pressure at the defending champions after the 4-1 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk. Werner is optimistic about the showdown – the 26-year-old attacker has had “great moments” against the club from the Spanish capital in the past, but also “bitter ones”. In three matches, he scored twice with Chelsea against the “Royal”. “That makes them almost my favorite opponents in the Champions League,” said Werner, who won the “premier class” with the Blues in 2021.
The former Stuttgarter does not see his return to the Saxon Bundesliga club in the summer as a step backwards. In his view, the 20 million transfer was primarily made with a view to DFB coach Hansi Flick and the World Cup in Qatar: “The whole constellation spoke in favor of it at the moment. You have a World Cup just around the corner and with the national coach there is someone who appreciates me, but who can’t just pull people along because he likes them. He needs players who play regularly.” The native of Swabia scored four goals in 21 games for the Blues last season, of which he only played seven full-length games.
