The Champion and the Challenger arrives in cinemas in two years.

Champion and challenger is an upcoming Finnish historical sports drama that will hit cinemas in the fall of 2024.
The master is SpongeBob Nurmichallenger Ville Ritola. Olli Riipinen plays Nurme, Miro Lopperi Ritola.
The film is directed by Aleksi Salmenperä.

The events of the film take place especially during the Olympics in Paris (1924) and Amsterdam (1928).

– An additional historical twist is brought to this by the fact that the film premieres at the same time as the Olympic Games in 2024 return to Paris after a hundred-year break, where Nurmi and Ritola in 1924 put Finland on the world map.
