FC Barcelona clearly won the dress rehearsal for the Champions League duel against FC Bayern in the Spanish Primera Division on Saturday evening (09/10/22). Barca won 4-0 at bottom side FC Cadiz.
A medical emergency in the stands caused a long interruption. With the score of 2-0 for the Catalans, the game had to be interrupted for almost an hour, in the end Robert Lewandowski and Co. won 4-0 (0-0). The players of both teams stayed on the pitch for a total of almost 20 minutes before they were sent to the cabins by the referee. It didn’t start until 9:05 p.m.
Lewandowski scores for the sixth time
World footballer Robert Lewandowski scored his sixth goal of the season in the 65th minute. The Pole was only substituted on in the 57th minute. Frenkie de Jong (55′) had previously given the guests the lead, Ansu Fati (86′, preparation Lewandowski) and Ousmane Dembele (90′ + 2) increased after the break.
With 13 points, Barca initially took the lead from Real Madrid (12). The record champions only play against Real Mallorca on Sunday (2 p.m.). Cadiz have now lost their five opening games, conceding 14 goals in the process.

From the starting line-up of Barca in the 5-1 win over Viktoria Pilsen in the Champions League opener last Wednesday, coach Xavi only called up goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen and de Jong in the starting eleven.
