Although after a turbulent night the sun broke through again today, severe weather is forecast for tomorrow morning. The KNMI has therefore announced code yellow.
Tomorrow morning the KNMI expects that there will be a lot of rain locally. Especially in the east and northeast it can be quite raging. Thunderstorms can also occur.
The weather can create dangerous situations on the road. Road users are advised to be extra careful in traffic.
In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday it also came pouring down from the sky. Thunderstorms and lightning moved over the province and that resulted in beautiful pictures in the Purmerend district of Weidevenne. Photographer Marcel van Engelen made impressive images of this from his balcony:
