Redmond, who moved from Norwich to Southampton in 2016 for 13.5 million euros, was set at the “Saints” over the years before he lost his regular place under coach Ralph Hasenhüttl for the new season. The left winger made a brief appearance against Tottenham on Matchday 1, but was not included in the squad again after that. Bournemouth, Wolverhampton and Everton were reportedly interested in him before Deadline Day in England. With Redmond’s contract expiring next year, Southampton only have this summer to secure an adequate fee.
