But that’s not all, a lower cap was also set (50% refund with a cap of 70 thousand pesos – 70% retirees affiliated with PAMI) and, there are fewer registered hotels, due to the limitations imposed by the Government due to a marked increase in prices in this area.
When do I have to contract the trip and until when can I do it?
It is not easy at all to understand the dynamics, for this reason it is that the most advisable thing is to approach a tourism agency and coordinate everything with them, since they will provide the tools to overcome the existing obstacles. Likewise, for those who wish to do it on their own, they must respect the following steps:
- if they are going to travel between October 10 and 31for the refund to be effective, the trip must be contracted within the next 5 days, until September 11. And they will have 72 more hours (until the 14th) to upload the invoices on the web www.previaje.gob.ar. Otherwise, the corresponding refund will not be approved.
- If the trip is planned to be made between November 1 and December 5, the term will be extended one more week (until the 18th – until the 21st they will be able to upload the invoices on the web).
It is important that only trips that are made within the time of the program will be taken. That is, between October 10 and December 5, 2022 at most. Any trip whose departure or return exceeds the deadline will not receive the benefit.
How is the dynamic to get the Pre Trip 3
It is important to know that one invoice or several can be charged, as long as they comply with the time conditions imposed by the program. And invoices are taken from the companies enrolled in the program: LIST OF REGISTERED PROVIDERS (important since there are many hotels that did not re-register due to the caps imposed by the Government due to the marked increases they have had).
Once the service is contracted, you enter the page of Pre Trip 3 (www.previaje.gob.ar), where there is to register with the account “My Argentina” and then you can create the trip with data such as place of departure, destination and dates. It is there where they will be able to load the invoices of the contracted services as accommodation, travel agencies, domestic air transport, land transport, car rental, parks and museums, excursions and other tourist services.
Why would it be more beneficial to contract the trip with an agency?
In this new edition of the program, the Government put a value cap on, for example, hoteliers, since they assure that the sector imposed increases that are not correlated with inflation. This made many hotels have decided not to re-register, which reduced the offer. That is why it is important that they check carefully that everything they are going to hire is in the list of program providers.
This same decision is ended up benefiting travel agencies enrolled in Pre Tripsince, through one of these you can hire a package that includes that hotel that one wants (although this is not in the list of the program), since who will grant the bbenefit of the reimbursement the travel agency.
How can I spend the refunds that Pre Trip 3 gives?
Once the declaration has been made and the refund approved, those who have the card Prepaid Bank Nation (because they have participated in other Pre Trip) the corresponding amount will be recharged on it. If they do not have it, they can request it. And the returned amount can be used to make payments in gastronomy establishments, accommodation, agencies, land and air transport companies, entertainment and leisure, movies and shows, tourist centers, regional products, car and equipment rental, tourist attractions, excursions and other services.
