The Spanish soccer record champions Real Madrid had to do hard work in the top LaLiga game against Betis Sevilla. In the end there was a hard-fought 2-1 (1-1) win against the Andalusians.

With the fourth win in the fourth game, the royals are still in first place, FC Barcelona pushed past Betis with a 3-0 (2-0) win at city rivals FC Sevilla in second place.

The Brazilian Vinicius Junior (9th) scored the opening goal for the Madrilenians, the preparatory work was done by ex-Munich David Alaba. Sergio Canales (17th) equalized for Sevilla, Rodrygo (65th) scored the winning goal. Toni Kroos (80th) and Antonio Rüdiger (90th + 1) both came on as substitutes at Real.

FC Barcelona is still undefeated. Robert Lewandowski set up the 1-0 lead at FC Sevilla through Brazilian international Raphinha (21′), and the Pole then made it 2-0 himself before the break (36′). Eric Garcia made it 3-0 shortly after the restart (50′).

In the 62nd minute, Lewandowski missed the great chance to make it 4-0 in a promising position before he was replaced a short time later by Ansu Fati (74th).
