In Grenoble, the polar bears won the Champions League game against French champions Bruleurs 8-2 on Thursday.

But there are injuries to top striker Yannick Veilleux (29). The Canadian suffers from a knee injury from last season and was unable to go on the ice. In the semifinals against Mannheim, he was badly fouled by Adler professional Borna Randulic (30): cartilage damage. In the worst case, the career end threatens.

The polar bears will play in Frölunda on Saturday (3:20 p.m., Sport1)
