A large oil tanker blocked the Suez Canal for about twenty minutes on Wednesday evening. This is reported by the operator of the Suez Canal SCA. The incident raised fears of a disruption to shipping traffic as at the beginning of last year, but oil tanker Affinity V was soon able to be refloated.
