2. BuLi access to Zirkzee?
After Joshua Zirkzee (21), FC Bologna apparently plans to strengthen again with a player from the Bundesliga. As the Edited by Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported, the Serie A club has already agreed with TSG Hoffenheim on a commitment from Stefan Posch.
According to this, the 25-year-old, whose working paper at the Kraichgauer is still valid until 2024, will initially come on loan including a purchase option of 5 million euros. The 16-times Austrian national player is expected on Wednesday for the obligatory medical check and his contract signing in Italy. With a market value of €10m, 1899 would lose one of its two most valuable centre-backs.
At Rossoblu, Posch is to further strengthen the defensive center after the two central defenders Jhon Lucumí (24) and Joaquín Sosa (20) were signed for a total of 9.7 million euros this summer. In coach Siniša Mihajlović’s team, he would also meet his compatriot Marko Arnautovic (33).

TSG Hoffenheim: Coach Breitenreiter with many options in the central defender position
Posch, who has been with TSG since 2015, was promoted to the pros in 2017, for whom he has played 126 competitive games since then. In the past season he was considered one of the most stable defenders in the defensive center under ex-coach Sebastian Hoeneß. With Ozan Kabak (22), Kevin Akpoguma (27), Eduardo Quaresma (20) and Kevin Vogt (30), the new coach André Breitenreiter currently has a few options in this position. There are also the currently injured Ermin Bicakcic (32), Benjamin Hübner (33) and Stanley Nsoki (23).
