Charles Leclerc tested his limits again. The Ferrari star sprinted out of the track in the last free practice of the Belgian GP.

This season, the Monaco driver, who has made several driving mistakes as a counterweight to his victories, lost control of his Ferrari during his timed lap. The car spun and slid over the sand, bouncing lightly on the tire barrier.

Leclerc was able to limp back to the pit, but the Ferrari mechanics are busy getting the car in perfect condition before qualifying starts in two hours.

There is no big problem. In any case, Leclerc will start Sunday’s race at the back of the pack due to grid penalties.

The top time in practice was driven by Red Bull Sergio Perez. The Mexican is a lot of guard. With Max Verstappen like Leclerc, he has a huge pile of grid penalties on his shoulders.

Of course, Perez’s words also apply to Carlos Sainz. The pole vault will probably be fought with this duo.

Valtteri Bottas finally had a problem-free session. The Finn was 15th in his Alfa Romeo. Even Bottas’ fate in qualifying is similar to that of Leclerc and Verstappen.

The rain stayed away during practice, but unstable weather has been predicted for qualifying.
