The group stage of the Conference League starts for AZ with an away game against Dnipro-1 from Ukraine. Because of the war in this country, the game will be played in neighboring Slovakia. The match is on Thursday, September 8 and starts at 9:00 PM.
In addition to Dnipro-1, AZ became yesterday entered in the draw in Group E with FC Vaduz from Liechtenstein and Apollon Limassol, the champion of Cyprus. The first home game of the Alkmaarders is on September 15 against Vaduz.
