The actor known from the Secret Lives series Julia Korpinen is one of the Survivors contestants of the starting season. On the trip to Malaysia, Korpinen was most surprised by the amount of free time.
– Boredom surprised me. There you just had to totally calm down, and we didn’t know what was going to happen next. We just went as instructed. The boredom was freezing, the actor describes.
Korpinen says that he is the type who finds it difficult to relax even at home – he always comes up with something to do.
– There was so much free time that it was already stressful. I tried to think of something to do, draw in the sand or sing alone.
Korpinen emphasizes that even though there was a lot of sitting around, he found the competitions “absurd”.
Injury
During the trip, Korpinen’s traumas surfaced. His back has been broken in junior high school in connection with balance beam gymnastics. Then Korpinen was almost paralyzed.
– It started to hurt in Survivors for the first time in years. It clicked in one game and always hurt a little after that. There was such a fear that everything is fine there, since it hasn’t been examined for a long time, says Korpinen.
Korpinen, who studies business sciences at the university, dreams of acting. At the moment, he is dreaming of a bigger role.
– I would like a demanding role, for which I would have to train for a sport or build a role in my head by studying books and movies, says Korpinen.
Survivors Finland starts on Nelose and Ruudu on Sunday, August 28.
