Ajax will know who the opponents will be in the coming edition of the Champions League on Thursday around 7 p.m. The national champion is in the tubes at the draw for the main European club tournament in Istanbul.
On September 6, the group stage starts in which Ajax, after the elimination of PSV in the play-offs, is again the only Dutch representative. That has been the case for the past three seasons.
Ajax is classified in pot 1 and in any case avoids Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, FC Porto, AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt. The final will be in Istanbul on June 10, 2023.
