It is often possible to park a caravan or motorhome in the open air, for example on a large meadow belonging to a farmer or at a marina. Finding a place in a covered shed – which most owners prefer – is a lot more difficult. “People from the Randstad come en masse to Limburg to park their caravan or motorhome here, because there is no place available for them,” says Roy Lexus of A2 Campercentrum in Gronsveld. “Yes, it is a good revenue model, but as a staller there is also a lot to consider. Of course you have to have all your insurance policies in order and you need enough space.”
