Timo Barthel and Jaden Eikermann won the bronze medal in synchronized diving from the tower at the European Championships in Rome.
The two German water jumpers only had to face the victorious British Ben Cutmore and Kyle Kothari as well as Kirill Boliuch and Oleksij Sereda from Ukraine. For their six jumps from a height of ten meters, 26-year-old Barthel and 17-year-old Eikermann received 369.30 points.
At the World Championships in June in Budapest, the German duo finished fifth as the third best Europeans.
