In Munich the Olympian of the 100 of Tokyo is repeated in the final of the Europeans, becoming the third man in history capable of the European 100 gold after the Olympic one after Armin Hary (Stockholm 1958 and Rome 1960), Valeriy Borzov (Munich 1972-Rome 1974) and Linford Christie (Barcelona 1992-Helsinki 1994).
