A new restaurant has opened its doors in my home district. And that is really worth a visit – not only for us Marzahners.

The Bellini is idyllically located on the Marzahner Chaussee. The Antica Pizzicheria restaurant used to be located here. After a short renovation, another Italian is now trying his luck in the same place.

You can sit comfortably inside or outside. The large garden area is particularly charming, but the stylishly furnished interiors are also likely to attract many guests from autumn.

The menu ranges from pizza and pasta – quite affordable – to fine filet and fish for the slightly larger purse.

When we visited the premiere with our twin ladies, we decided on two pizzas. The classic salami for 8.90 euros is very tasty, has a thin but crispy base and is richly topped. Pizza #2 was the Salmone (12.90 euros) with salmon, basil pesto and garlic. Wow!

Top: The adults were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and the kids with an orange juice. And finally the obligatory Sambuca, for the girls a mini juice.

The only drawback: children’s dishes are unfortunately missing in the otherwise very good menu. We’ll definitely be back!
