Dry or not: Coby’s vegetable garden just stays green

The tips from Coby in short:

1) Make sure that the soil is not too loose, because then the soil dries out faster.
2) Do not harvest your vegetables at the hottest time of the day, that is not good for the plant.
3) Take a dry summer into account and choose plants that can go longer without water.
4) Use ground covers, preferably from organic material, in your vegetable garden. This ensures that the soil dries out less and that the soil remains moist.
5) Make a hole or trench next to your crop. When rain falls, it does not wash away immediately and it reaches the roots of the plant more quickly.
