From tomorrow, code red will apply throughout Flanders, the highest possible risk code for wildfires. The Agency for Nature and Forests reports this to VTM NIEUWS journalist Karel Lattrez. Emergency services will be on “highly heightened vigilance” and fire towers will be manned “as much as possible”.
