La Liga is said to have informed Barca that the club must first sell one or more players to offset the expenses. It has long been rumored that the Catalans want to sell Frenkie de Jong to Manchester United for more than 80 million, but the Dutchman does not want that himself. Perhaps that transfer will have to come now.
Barcelona has already signed five new players this summer with Robert Lewandowski (45 million euros), Andreas Christensen (free transfer), Franck Kessie (free transfer), Raphinha (58 million euros) and Jules Koundé (50 million euros).
Solve before August 13th
Together, these players have cost more than 150 million euros, but can therefore not play any matches for the time being. The same applies to the players who extended their contracts this summer – Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto.

Barca must solve the problem before August 13. Then the first league game of the season against Rayo Vallecano is on the program.
Last winter, Barcelona had the same problem for a while, when they were unable to immediately register Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ferran Torres, among others.
