RTL Boulevard has behaved ‘outrageously’ at Maxime Meiland’s wedding, spies tell Yvonne Coldeweijer. “They tapped audio and broadcast it on TV at night!”
The wedding of Maxime Meiland was filmed exclusively by SBS 6 on Saturday. Not only for the television hit Chateau Meiland, but also to be able to show the first images in Shownieuws in the evening. However, the SBS party was quite confused, because RTL Boulevard was also unannounced on the sidewalk.

Aran Bade, reporter of the program, found it unacceptable that the Meilandjes go out day in and day out for some media attention, but keep the door closed when getting married. He therefore simply went to the wedding party with a camera crew. “I think it’s weird if you don’t invite the press.”
There was ultimately no noise on the spot, because the master of ceremonies of the Meilandjes took a sporty attitude. “He said, ‘You know what? So let’s do it right. Then you get a place, you can film the ceremony remotely and then you can make beautiful pictures of it.’”
‘Audio tapped!’
RTL Boulevard was therefore able to broadcast the images of the wedding hours earlier than Shownieuws, a major setback for the show section of SBS 6. However, the images of Boulevard were clearly filmed remotely. The yes, however, could be heard crystal clear, also at RTL. How is that possible? Boulevard was quite a distance away, wasn’t it?
Yvonne Coldeweijer now states that Boulevard has misbehaved a lot. “They have behaved outrageously. I learned that they filmed from a distance and tapped the audio, tuning in to the frequency of the transmitters (they were filming for their own series) and recording it without permission.”
Legal action
Talpa is quite pissed about this, Yvonne knows. “This tapped audio was broadcast along with the images. Seems illegal to me!”
According to Yvonne, it could just be that this gets a tail. “I heard from a spy that the Tapa team is currently discussing whether they want to take legal action against Blue Circle, the producer of RTL Boulevard.”
Maxime angry with Aran
Aran has been irritating the Meiland family for years. Two years ago he also showed up on their doorstep unannounced, much to Maxime’s anger. “You’re making an appointment, aren’t you?” she wondered, bewildered.
The Meilandjes are regularly basked by Aran. That’s why in 2019, their debut year, they didn’t even want to talk to Boulevard anymore. At the beginning of this year, Aran called on SBS 6 to cancel the Meiland show Chateau Bijstand.
