Arrived! Canal swimmer Bram sets foot in France
Swimming from Dover to Calais is a tough challenge, but as of today Bram De Langhe is one of the few who completed the challenge. The 41-year-old physiotherapist started swimming in the United Kingdom last night and arrived in France today around 3 pm. Bram needed just over 14 hours to swim about 54 kilometers. However, the journey was not without a struggle. The Waregemnaar was stung twice by a jellyfish and also had to deal with the cold temperature of the water. However, the many encouragements from friends and family that were shown on the big screen for Bram made up for a lot.
The proceeds of Bram’s challenge will go entirely to SOS Children’s Villages.
