Reebok announces extensive Classic Leather collection with new models
Reebok today introduces a new Classic Leather collection for Fall/Winter 2022. The global sports brand interprets the iconic 80s running shoe from new, unique perspectives. New materials, shapes, striking colors and practical design applications make the Classic Leather even more attractive for a wide variety of styles and lifestyles, while the sneaker retains its unmistakable DNA.
For the coming season, Reebok is presenting four special classic leather silhouettes:
- Classic Leather “SP”: Launched in 2022, the female silhouette of the SP is a must-have in any good shoe closet. The lightweight, compression-molded midsole provides a modern look and airy, cushioning comfort. With a raised sole, the SP is very trendy and allows for timeless styling.
- Classic Leather – Make it Yours “Shift”: Based on the constant changes in today’s world, the Classic Leather in the “Shift” version gets updated decorative stitching and a special overlay pattern, which feels extraordinary and iconic at the same time. Available from August 1st.
- Classic Leather – Make it Yours “OG”: This clean, timeless Reebok DNA colorway celebrates the brand’s heritage trainer with classic vector red, blue and white overlays on a premium suede and mesh upper. Inspired by the sports brand’s marathon styles from the ’80s, the model brings Reebok’s DNA to today’s streets. Available from August 1st.
- Classic Leather – LX 2200: Inspired by the sport of yesteryear, the LX2200 is a reinterpretation of the archival LX8500 model. The bold silhouette features the original colors and bold heel of the original, bringing Reebok’s past into the future of street style. Available from September 12th.
- Classic Leather “Winterized”: The Winterized convinces with its robust, non-slip outsole, soft inner lining and the autumn/winter color combination – a real all-rounder for everyone who doesn’t want to do without their sneakers even in winter. Available from October 1st.
Another key model for Fall/Winter 2022 is the running-inspired archive silhouette Classic Leather Legacy AZthe stylish one Nylon Skyand many more throughout the reinterpreted Classic Leather OG available throughout the season.
To mark the occasion of the new and proven Classic Leather silhouettes, Reebok Europe is accompanying the launch with a visually exciting campaign. The 80s revival has GenZs and Millennials reveling in the analogue past. Inspired by the Zillennials’ nostalgia and fascination with the era, Reebok Europe celebrates the iconic Classic Leather with talent from the younger generation with its new, free-spirited film that nostalgically looks back to the ’80s.
The various Classic Leather models are available from launch or are already available at www.reebok.de/classic_leather and from selected retail partners at prices between 90 and 110 euros.
