The prequel series to “Game Of Thrones” is getting its own podcast. From August 3rd, the official “House Of The Dragon” podcast will be chatting about fan theories, Westeros and background information about the series.
The interview list is impressive. Game Of Thrones author George RR Martin and actors Matt Smith and Paddy Considine, both of whom play key roles in House Of The Dragon, are said to be guests. The podcast is hosted by Jason Concepcion and Greta Johnsen – both stars of the medium.
200 years before Game Of Thrones
But first the knowledge has to be refreshed. In the first episode, the moderator duo repeats the most important facts about Westeros. Just as a reminder, House Of The Dragon takes place 200 years before the events of Game Of Thrones.
The Targaryens are the focus of the fantasy series. As usual, the peroxide blonde house blessing is crooked. Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) and Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) fight for the succession to the throne. Of course, fire-breathing dragons should not be missing.
