Tonight, around 11.20 pm, a major alarm was raised at the Zuidlaardermeer, near Meerwijk in Midlaren. According to the report, a vessel was in trouble.
The fire brigade was also on site with a diving team. A man was sought who had gone out on the lake and never returned. After a short tour on the water, the man was found on his boat. He was taken to the side by the fire service.
