Halina Reijn is quite touched by the statements Rob Goossens has made about her. The RTL Boulevard expert states that he hates the actress. “I’d like to share my hatred for her with the world,” he says. Halina thinks that is incredibly intense. She says, “Never forget that words have power and they arrive.”

None other than Zomergasten presenter Janine Abbring is now also involved. She puts a heart to Halina and points the actress via Twitter to the statements she made this weekend in the AD about bullying in the media.

Janine: “I think a lot of people on TV become insecure about muck spraying. Especially if it’s structural, then it gets under your skin. People at home always think that the TV world is like Madame Tussauds. That we are dolls you can say anything about. Well: this doll can just read, you know.”

The only thing you can do against critics like Rob is to adopt a certain attitude, Janine explains. “I once heard a quote: ‘Don’t take criticism from people you wouldn’t ask for advice.’ When I heard that I thought: yes, damn it, that must be my credo. I’m going to try that this summer.”

Halina has not publicly responded to Janine’s statement of support, but the Zomergasten presenter does have a like received from Fallon van der Meeren. She too was attacked by Rob.

Incidentally, Halina is not entirely innocent when it comes to insulting others. She once called two of her fans ‘manatees’ in a column for the AD.

Halina described how she snubbed a lady who recognized her at Schiphol: “’Can you see it?’ Startled, the plump woman averts her gaze. I shake my head sympathetically. She looks ashamed at her equally fat daughter in shorts, who now stares anxiously at the ground. ‘Jesus!’ I hiss under my breath.”
