Two men, one of whom is already in custody, got out of a car and shot two people on the terrace of a hookah bar in the 11th district
At least One person has died and four have been injured on Monday night after a shooting caused by two individuals in a bar in the 11th district of Paris, France. Two subjects have left a vehicle and have shot at two people who were sitting on the terrace of the establishment, a hookah bar. One of the two aggressors has been retained by the business’s clients. The second is a fugitive, according to police sources quoted by the French network CNEWS.
“A shooting tonight has just left one dead and four injured at a ‘shisha’ bar on Popincourt Street. The motives for this barbaric act are unknown at this time. The patrons of the bar have subdued one of the two assailants and the other has fled”, the mayor of the 11th district, François Vauglin, has written on Twitter. Vauglin has also indicated that the French National Police is “very actively” looking for the second attacker. A medical cell will be opened- counseling as soon as possible for residents or witnesses to the event.
The Police have opened an investigation to clarify the causes that have caused the shooting.
