Not the first case
In the past few weeks and months, testicular tumors have already been found in Timo Baumgartl (Union Berlin) and Marco Richter (Hertha BSC). In the case of the latter, this happened in the past week. Hertha’s sports director Fredi Bobic told RBB: “He’s fine, the operation went well. We’ll soon find out what the tissue samples are like, what kind of tumor it is, whether other forms of treatment are necessary or whether he’s lucky misfortune and will return quickly.”
A similar procedure now awaits Sébastien Haller, who is now out for an indefinite period. BVB asks that the privacy of the player and his family be respected.
