It is one of the holiday motorways par excellence: 743 km from Emilia to Puglia, skirting the Adriatic in many points and crossing Marche, Abruzzo and Molise (here the out-of-bounds along the A1 Autostrada del Sole and A2 Autostrada del Mediterraneo). The A14 makes summer a bit even in December and has a peculiarity: it comes from the union of three motorway sections conceived separately. The Adriatic Bologna-Canosa motorway, the Canosa-Bari section of the Naples-Bari motorway and the Bari-Taranto section of the unfinished Bari-Taranto-Sibari Ionian motorway. From a culinary point of view, it gives emotions because going from North to South it offers cuisines with few points in common, apart from an undoubted attention to fish.
