LEIGH – Jill Roord was hardly asked about her performance on Wednesday after the European Championship victory of the Netherlands against Portugal (3-2). It was mainly about her comments about national coach Mark Parsons. Afterwards, player and trainer gave each other a box on the field, after brief eye contact, to celebrate the victory. Parsons cuddled with several other internationals. The 25-year-old Roord stated in the mixed zone, with a mouth cap, that she is not aware of any harm.
