The Latin songs are a continuation of the Eurovision’s world conquest. This spring saw the first American Song Contest in the United States, next year will see the Canadian version, Eurovision Song Contest Canada.
– Eurovision’s unique format reaches new fans around the world every year, and we can’t wait to expand the brand to this extremely multidimensional corner of the world, Eurovision producer Martin Osterdahl says in the announcement.

Lattarikisa is produced by the same people as the North American versions. The host city for the first competition will be searched for in the coming months.
It is not yet known when the Eurovision Song Contest Latin America will be shown on television screens. It is also not told how the competition will be implemented in practice.
The EBU’s announcement states that the 2022 Eurovision was watched diligently in, among others, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico.
With the conquest of Latin America, every continent except Antarctica has had its share of the Eurovision craze. In addition to European countries, several Asian countries have been seen at Eurovision over the years, for example Armenia and Israel, as well as Morocco located in Africa. Australia has participated in Eurovision since 2015.
This spring, the American Eurovision Song Contest was held for the first time. The contest hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson was won by K-pop artist AleXa. PDO
