Created 36 years ago, the Slaughterhouse Fair It is the most emblematic of the city of Buenos Aires, because it brings together artists and producers from all over the country, in a complete and diverse sample of the culture of Argentines.
Located around the old Treasury Market (recently moved to Cañuelas), every Sunday brings together true masters in the handicrafts typical of Argentina, in a gallery of autochthonous productions that range from ponchos from different regions to silverware, woodworking, leather and fabrics. Fifteen thousand people visit the Fair every Sunday, including many tourists who come attracted by the cultural attraction of the meeting.
One of the highlights of the walk is the gastronomycurrently concentrated in two food courts, which offer recipes from various areas of Argentina and Latin American countries.
