We said at our first congress, this federation will act together with the clubs and fulfill the wishes of the clubs as much as possible. As a result of consultation, we decided to start the Spor Toto 1st League on August 12, instead of August 5. The regular season will end on May 14, 2023, as previously planned. However, we left the meeting with very valuable ideas and in the coming days, we will work together to further increase the quality of the 1st League on the one hand, and on the other hand, on the other hand, “he said. .

Emphasizing that as the TFF management, they made important decisions to strengthen the 1st League in a three-week period, TFF President Büyükekşi continued: “Taking into account the expectations of our clubs, as in the Super League, the foreign practice in Spor Toto 1st League was implemented in the previous season. , that is, we allowed 8 foreign national football players on the condition that a maximum of 5 foreigners can be on the field at the same time. In addition, we allowed 2 foreign football players under the age of 21 to be transferred to our clubs, on the condition that they play for the national teams at least 10 times. We believe that they will make more efforts to train Turkish talents with the motto ‘domestic source’. We completed the broadcasting process and re-signed with beIN SPORTS for two years. With the introduction of the VAR application, the human error margin in match management will hopefully be minimized. Football will not happen without fans and football players. You know, we are planning various events in the stadiums before the matches so that more spectators can take part in the stands in the new season. I have mentioned in many meetings that it will create an important opportunity for our clubs. Football is not just about winning or losing. Football also has a special mission that unites people.
