Oh dear! These weeks the Oostweg and the entrance and exit to and from the A12 are closed

Just before the summer holidays in Zoetermeer, work has to be carried out on the Oostweg, between the Zuidweg and the Máximaplein. The important access route to the A12, Rokkeveen, Oosterheem and the rest of our city will be closed for two weeks.

The Oostweg will be closed in both directions from Friday, July 8, 8:00 p.m. to Monday, July 25, 6:00 a.m. Take extra travel time into account.

Via the Afrikaweg or via Bleiswijk

The road will have a new asphalt layer, new traffic lights and work will be done on viaducts. All this work causes a lot of delay. To drive to the A12 in the direction of The Hague, you can detour via the Afrikaweg. In this way you arrive at the entrance to the A12 from the center. Motorists from Oosterheem, het Dorp and Noordhove, for example, can opt for the driveway at Bleiswijk.

Do you want to take the A12 in the direction of Utrecht? Then it is best to opt for the entrance and exit at Bleiswijk. Due to the closures you have to take into account a 10 to 30 minute delay.
