On August 31, 2021, a previously unknown woman smashed two windows of a regional train with an emergency hammer. The federal police are now asking for a photo to help identify the woman.

At around 6:25 p.m., while driving in the RE 18082 in the direction of Berlin, the woman smashed a passenger window with the emergency hammer.

According to the police, passers-by overpowered the probably Polish woman. The woman later smashed another window. Passengers pushed them back again.

Alerted Brandenburg police officers temporarily arrested the woman at Zossen station.

The woman spoke Polish but had no ID with her. Therefore, according to the federal police, it has not been possible to determine their personal details. Now the district court in Potsdam has ordered the public search.

  • Who can provide information on their whereabouts?
