Puma returns to New York Fashion Week in September

Sportswear manufacturer Puma will present a comprehensive fashion show at New York Fashion Week in September. The event is being raised as a “groundbreaking brand experience,” Puma wrote in a statement Tuesday.

“We are thrilled to be back on the official CFDA/NYFW calendar. Returning to fashion week for the first time in several years is significant for us as we knew we needed the right combination of factors to be present,” said Adam Petrick, Chief Brand Officer at Puma.

During the presentation, physical and digital elements are combined to take a look at the past as well as the future of the brand. The ‘Futrograde’ event will be presented in downtown Big Apple on September 13th. The show, which is dynamically designed with light, music and projection effects, is rounded off by performances by athletes and celebrities. Alongside the show, Puma will present a digital experience that aims to further establish the brand in the Web3 space.

Puma will be showcasing looks for both men and women on the runway – including reimagined retro outfits, pieces from upcoming collaborations, custom-made pieces and forward-thinking looks that “emphasize a sophisticated, active style and expressive individuality, while the diversity of looks reflects Puma’s vision of sportswear holistically expressed. The show was put together by Puma’s creative director June Ambrose, who also designed some of the looks herself.
