‘G7 countries want to temporarily finance more oil and gas extraction’

Germany is urging the G7, the group of major western economies, to temporarily allow financing for the extraction of fossil fuels. The move would save Europe from a deep energy crisis, as Russia drastically cuts its gas supply.
