Alessandro Miressi closed the final of the 100 meters freestyle of the World Swimming Championships, staged in Budapest, in eighth position. The 23-year-old from Turin (Fiamme Oro – Aqua Centurions) stopped the clock at 48 “31. The Romanian David Popovici (double 100 and 200 sl for him) in 47” 58, silver for the French Maxime Grousset ( 47 “64), bronze for the Canadian Joshua Liendo Edwards (47” 71). “I’m trying in every way but this is the result.
