FERRAGAMO introduces the F-80 SKELETON watch with sustainable strap

from the very beginning, innovation and creativity have characterized the choice and use of materials at the House of Salvatore Ferragamo. For years, the company has paid increasing attention to the environmental impact of its activities in order to produce high quality and responsible products.

On the occasion of Ocean Month, the Italian fashion house presents a brand new, exclusive edition of one of its most successful men’s watches in a sustainable version: the new limited-edition F-80 Skeleton, available in green and blue, houses an automatic movement in its elegant, satin-finished steel case. This is visible thanks to the transparency of the case back and the skeleton dial decorated with the double Gancini symbol.

The strap is made of eco-friendly materials: a thin layer of FSC-certified cork covers the inner part, while the outer part is made of a fabric made of recycled PET fibers covered with vegetable tanned leather.

The F-80 Skeleton with Sustainable Strap comes in special packaging, also made of eco-friendly materials:

The box is made from FSC-certified cardboard, while the protective wood and metal case – which comes in two colors to match those of the watch – is lined with hemp on the inside and a fabric made from recycled PET fibers on the outside. The watch cushion is made of a bioplastic that is 100% made from sugar cane.

The new F-80 Skeleton with a sustainable strap will be available in Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques, authorized retailers and online from the end of June.
