Market values Denmark: Anders Dreyer in 1st place | transfer market

All professionals re-evaluated

The Danish Superligaen temporarily has a new most valuable player in Anders Dreyer. The player on loan at FC Midtjylland has increased his market value from 7 million to 8 million euros after a strong second half of the season. As of today, he is still under contract with Rubin Kazan until 2026, but clubs from the Bundesliga and Süper Lig are said to be interested in his services.

After his loan on March 16, Dreyer was directly involved in ten goals in 13 games and led FCM to cup victory. While the future of the Danish attacking all-rounder is uncertain, Viktor Claesson signed a contract until 2026 when he moved from FK Krasnodar to FC Copenhagen in March. The 30-year-old Swedish winger hasn’t been able to fully develop his class in his first few months in Denmark and is downgraded from €9m to €7m.

On the other hand, Pep Biel, one of the three Spanish legionnaires in the Superligaen, presented himself in top form. The midfielder of champions Copenhagen played his best season since his €5m transfer in the summer of 2019 and collected 20 points in 32 games on the way to the title – in Europe his tally was even better. Consequently, Biel, who is under contract until 2024, secures the biggest plus of this market value update thanks to an appreciation from 3.5 million to 6 million euros.

Center forward Mathias Kvistgaarden (20) from Brondby IF made the biggest jump in percentage terms hin, which increases its market value tenfold from 200,000 to 2 million euros. During the championship round, the 1.73 meter tall homegrown successfully established himself in the professional squad and most recently made his debut in the U21s of Denmark.

This is how the Transfermarkt market values work

The Transfermarkt market values are created taking into account various pricing models and a strong involvement of the Transfermarkt community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values are not to be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.

The goal is not to predict a price, but an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
