In St. Petersburg, raids on establishments boycotting QR codes took place

Since January 2, the authorities of St. Petersburg tightened coronavirus restrictions. Now visitors to shopping centers, cafes, restaurants and shops must present a QR code confirming vaccination or having had COVID-19, or a certificate of medical exemption from vaccination along with a negative PCR test.

However, the requirement for QR codes does not apply to grocery stores, convenience stores, shops without a trading floor, pharmacies, gas stations, industrial canteens and cafes on the territory of railway stations and airports.
