Nearly 16,000 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Moscow over the past 24 hours, informs operational headquarters. This is the maximum number of cases per day since the start of the pandemic in the capital.
According to the headquarters, 1,077 people were hospitalized during the day. 506 people are on artificial lung ventilation (ALV). “The share of hospitalizations for the second day in a row is at the level of 6.7%,” the headquarters noted.

In Moscow, 72 people with coronavirus died over the past day. Recovered – 3,025 patients.
In general, 57,212 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected in Russia over the past day. This is a new high since the beginning of the pandemic, the previous record was set the day before – 49,513 cases.
