Early Wednesday morning, the police caught two would-be burglars (12, 15) in Neukölln.

As the police announced on Wednesday, three people wanted to break into a mobile phone shop on Hermannstraße at around 3.30 a.m. and tampered with a roller shutter.

When the police arrived, the trio tried to run away, but two boys didn’t get far. The police eventually arrested a 12-year-old and his accomplice, three years his senior, who vehemently resisted. The third burglar managed to escape.

The two would-be burglars were picked up by their parents. It is now being investigated for attempted burglary.
