The deceased man who was found yesterday in Noord-Scharwoude, according to the police, most likely ended up in the water after he became unwell. It concerns a 21-year-old from the municipality of Dijk en Waard.
Around 19.50 the police received a report from the Achterstraat in the village. There was a person in the ditch† Attempts to resuscitate the man were unsuccessful, the 21-year-old had already died, a police spokesman said.
