According to media reports, TikTok star Cooper Noriega († 19) was found dead in a parking garage. Mysterious: Just a few hours earlier, he had published a post in which he discussed his early death.
Apparently, a passer-by discovered the lifeless body of the influencer (more than 1.7 million followers on TikTok). The rescue service called could not do anything for the 19-year-old.
According to current knowledge, Noriega probably died of natural causes. A forensic pathologist should clarify the exact cause.
Creepy: The American had shared a video just hours before his death, in which he wrote: “Who else thinks they’re going to die bloody young?”
Cooper Noriega has been open about his drug addiction. According to his own statements, he was addicted for ten years, so he was already consuming at the age of nine. In January last year he wrote on Twitter: “90 days clean!”
The withdrawal was hard, but obviously urgently needed: months earlier, he had almost died from an overdose, but was brought back to life in the hospital. “Fortunately, someone found me before it was too late.” The autopsy will show whether the Internet star suffered a relapse before his death.
Noriega, who would have turned 20 in June, recently started a group on online messenger Discord. There, addicts should be able to exchange ideas with experts. “This should bring us all together and create a safe space where people can help each other in difficult times.”
