Since it became known that the Queen of Pop is working with Universal (which is also her current record label) on a biopic about herself, speculation has run rampant as to who will play the young rising star, who initially appeared in the New York branch of the Italian fashion brand Fiorucci sold colorful clothes.
Names such as Sydney Sweeney (“Euphoria”), Alexa Demie and Barbie Ferreira appeared in the trade press. Known and less known. Bebe Rexha, Sky Ferreira, Odessa Young and Emma Laird also had to audition small early 80s scenes in front of a strict selection committee.
