The poet and translator Anatoly Naiman died at the age of 86. About it informed journalist and literary critic Anna Narinskaya, Nyman was her stepfather.

“Anatoly Naiman died tonight [21 января]”, she wrote on Facebook, adding that information about the farewell will be announced later.

Earlier, on January 18, Narinskaya reported that her father suffered a massive stroke during a speech on the poet Osip Mandelstam at a conference at the Higher School of Economics. “We are now transferring him from one intensive care unit to another. But the forecasts are disappointing.” said she.
