Dance lovers can indulge themselves. A brand new festival will be added to the agenda. The organizers of Intents Festival and WiSH Outdoor will start the Elektrum Festival in Boxtel together. Fans of the so-called hardstyle can already add 8 and 9 October to their agenda.
It’s about the harder dance styles, at a new location. According to Tim Klomp Bueters of WiSH Outdoor, there will be four stages.
“We think there is room on the Dutch festival market for this event. Top DJs will play harder styles. It will not be a mix of the artists from Intents and WiSH. It will really be a festival with its own style and music. take advantage of both organizations’ networks with artists.”
There has never been a hardstyle festival on the estate site in Boxtel before, but there were other events such as We Are Electric. A permit has not yet been granted, but according to Bueters, the municipality has promised to cooperate. “They are working on the permit, there is room for 10,000 to 15,000 visitors.”
Prices for day or weekend tickets are not yet known. “We are now looking at that, but it is clear that people who have registered and buy tickets quickly will receive a discount.”
