Show news tells Glennis Grace to fans in Flanders: ‘Really?!’

Glennis Grace and her crew were not the only Dutch people at her concert in Antwerp yesterday. A team of Shownieuws was there to tell the singer to her Flemish fans.

Shownieuws sent a camera crew to Antwerp yesterday to inform visitors of Glennis Grace about her misconduct in the Netherlands. Initially, all those visitors are still wildly enthusiastic. “She’s gorgeous. She can imitate Whitney Houston so well, that’s just perfect,” it sounds, for example.

‘You are kidding me?!’

Then the reporter of the show section says: “Are you also aware of the fact that she has been in the news quite often in the Netherlands lately?”

The Flemish fans know nothing. “The reason is because Glennis Grace is in a commotion. In the Netherlands she is now suspected of open violence,” the reporter continues.

The concert-goers react in astonishment: “You’re not serious?!”

‘I’m going home!’

Each and every one of the Flemings is surprised. “Oh, sorry. Too bad, yes,” says one. And the other: “Oh, that might give a slightly different picture, yes.”

And another gentleman: “Oh okay, yes. I did not know that. I’ll just go back home, haha.”

It seems that people in Flanders have not really received the news. “Oh, I didn’t know that.”

Evert chuckles

Private boss Evert Sankrediets finds it particularly entertaining. “There are a lot of fans in Belgium who really had no idea what is going on here, but our reporter was happy to catch up with them. hahahahaha. So these people had no idea,” he says after the item.

Did Glennis want to talk to Shownieuws himself? “We tried to talk to her afterwards about what the Ladies of Soul are all about, but she didn’t want to talk to us. At some point she will have to take that step to give text and explanation here and there.”
